Karan Arjun Vs Pushpa Re-Release Collection Day 2: SRK-Salman Dominate Over Allu Arjun
In the world of cinema, re-releases are creating excitement among audiences. Films like 'Kal Ho Naa Ho', 'Karan Arjun', and 'Pushpa: The Rise' are returning to theatres. On November 22, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's classic film 'Karan Arjun' made a comeback just before its 30th anniversary in January 2025. Meanwhile, the Hindi version of Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa The Rise' also hit cinemas again before its sequel's release.
After nearly three decades, 'Karan Arjun' is back on the big screen. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, this iconic film first released in 1995, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together for the first time. The movie also starred Rakhee Gulzar, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, Amrish Puri, and Johnny Lever.

The re-release of 'Karan Arjun' has proven successful at both Indian and domestic box offices. Reports indicate that it earned Rs 30 lakhs on its opening day, matching Imtiaz Ali's 'Laila Majnu'. On Saturday, the film saw an increase in earnings to Rs 40 lakhs, bringing the total collection to Rs 70 lakhs.

'Pushpa The Rise' turned Allu Arjun into a nationwide star with its original success. Upon re-release, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, it collected around Rs 20 lakhs on day one and Rs 30 lakhs on Saturday. This brings its total earnings to Rs 50 lakhs.
