Kanguva Box Office Prediction: Can Suriya's Film Reach Rs 14 Crores Despite Slow Second Weekend?

The film "Kanguva," featuring Suriya and Bobby Deol, has been a hot topic since its release. This movie marks the Tamil debut of both Bobby Deol and Disha Patani, with Suriya playing dual roles. Directed by Siva, this epic fantasy action drama showcases Bobby as a formidable antagonist, presenting him in an unprecedented look that has intrigued audiences.

In addition to the lead actors, "Kanguva" includes performances by Mansoor Ali Khan, Yogi Babu, Karunas, Natarajan Subramaniam, K. S. The plot follows Francis Theodore (Suriya), a bounty hunter in 2024 whose mysterious link to a child ties back to a tribal warrior's vow from 1070. Despite its initial buzz, "Kanguva" has faced challenges at the Hindi box office since its first week. The film kicked off its second week with Rs 55 lakhs on Thursday but saw a decline on Friday with Rs 20 lakhs and Rs 19 lakhs on Saturday. By day 10, the total earnings reached Rs 13.74 crores in the Hindi market.

Based on current trends, "Kanguva" is expected to maintain steady growth today (day 11/second Sunday) in the Hindi market. Predictions suggest it will earn between Rs 20-25 lakhs today, bringing it closer to the Rs 14 crores milestone by the weekend's end.

Bobby Deol expressed his enthusiasm for "Kanguva" during an interview with Gulf News: "I am just so excited, and what better way to start your career in the Tamil industry than with a film like Kanguva and to work with Suriya. I am his big fan, and he's such a sweetheart. He's an amazing person. The best part was being on this set surrounded by a down-to-earth and humble director, cast, and crew.
