Kanguva Box Office Day 7 Prediction: Will Suriya's Film Maintain Steady Performance In Hindi Market?
Suriya and Bobby Deol have teamed up for the first time in the fantasy action drama "Kanguva," directed by Siva. This film, featuring Disha Patani, has become one of the year's most anticipated releases. It marks the Tamil debut for both Patani and Deol, whose performances have captured significant attention. Released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, "Kanguva" is making waves.
In "Kanguva," Suriya takes on a dual role as Kanguva and Francis Theodore. Bobby Deol portrays the main antagonist Udhiran with a menacing presence. The film also stars Natarajan Subramaniam, K. S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Mansoor Ali Khan, Ravi Raghavendra, and Karunas. The movie's trailer and impressive cast have generated substantial buzz, contributing to its decent box office performance.

During its opening weekend, "Kanguva" maintained a strong hold at the box office but experienced a significant drop on its first Monday (day 5), earning Rs 70 lakhs in the Hindi market. However, it saw a slight increase on Tuesday (day 6), collecting Rs 83 lakhs. This brought the film's total earnings to Rs 12.08 crores in the Hindi market.
Based on current trends, "Kanguva" is expected to maintain steady earnings in the Hindi market today (day 7/first Wednesday), with predictions ranging from Rs 80 lakhs to Rs 1 crore. Although there were hopes of surpassing Rs 15 crores in its first week, it seems unlikely that this milestone will be reached.
Bobby Deol expressed his enthusiasm for working on "Kanguva" with Gulf News: "I am just so excited, and what better way to start your career in the Tamil industry than with a film like Kanguva and to work with Suriya. I am his big fan, and he's such a sweetheart. He's an amazing person. The best part was being on this set surrounded by a down-to-earth and humble director, cast, and crew. I never felt out of place because they made me feel comfortable."
