Kanguva Box Office Collection Day 4: Suriya’s Film Grows But Lags Behind GOAT

Suriya, a prominent figure in Tamil cinema, has delivered numerous hit films over his 25-year career. His latest release, Kanguva, directed by Siva, is gaining attention both in India and internationally. This fantasy action drama features Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in significant roles, marking their debut in the Tamil film industry. Bobby's portrayal of the main antagonist has particularly captured audience interest.

Kanguva showcases an intense face-off between Suriya and Bobby Deol, which stands out as a major highlight. Additionally, Suriya plays a dual role in the film. The movie has received positive feedback from viewers and was released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.

The film had a promising start in the Hindi market with an opening day collection of Rs 3.5 crores. Although there was a decline on the second and third days, the fourth day saw an increase in earnings. According to Sacnilk, Kanguva collected Rs 2.57 crores on its fourth day, bringing its total Hindi box office collection to Rs 10.62 crores.

Despite being one of this year's major Tamil releases, Kanguva faces comparisons with Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT). However, it did not surpass GOAT's performance on its first Sunday in the Hindi market. Notably, GOAT earned Rs 2.7 crores on its fourth day of release.

It remains to be seen if Kanguva will gain momentum in the Hindi market over the coming days.
