Kanguva Box Office Collection Day 13: Suriya’s Film Earns Less Than Half Of Jailer

Suriya's latest film, Kanguva, has been a hot topic since its release. Directed by Siva, this epic fantasy action drama features Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their eagerly anticipated Tamil debuts. The movie also includes Masoor Ali Khan, Karunas, Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, K. S. Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Ravi Raghavendra in significant supporting roles.

The storyline of Kanguva presents Suriya in a dual role. It follows Francis Theodore, a bounty hunter in 2024, whose mysterious link to a child ties back to a tribal warrior's vow from 1070. Released in multiple languages including Tamil and Hindi, the film generated considerable excitement with its cast and trailer.

Despite an initial boost during its second weekend, Kanguva experienced a noticeable decline in earnings on the following Monday. According to Sacnilk reports, the film earned Rs 13 lakhs on both the second Monday (day 12) and Tuesday (day 13) in the Hindi market. This brought its total earnings to Rs 17.01 crores.

Kanguva faces tough competition at the box office from other major releases like Rajinikanth's Jailer. On its second Tuesday, Kanguva earned less than half of Jailer's Rs 30 lakhs collection for that day. This comparison highlights the challenges Kanguva faces in maintaining strong box office numbers.
