Kangana Ranaut Reflects On Self-Acceptance, Urges Women To Embrace Beauty At Every Stage

Actor Kangana Ranaut, currently promoting her film Emergency, recently expressed dissatisfaction with her appearance during the promotion of her 2006 film 'Woh Lamhe'. Reflecting on that time, she now encourages women to love themselves and appreciate their beauty at every stage of life.

The actress made her debut in "Gangster" and has since had a remarkable journey as an actress, producer, director, and politician. Kangana continues to be candid in sharing her thoughts. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), she shared an important lesson she has learned over the years.

In her post, Kangana recalled, "This is a video from my second film Woh Lamhe music launch, I was just a teenager and like every young woman I hated everything about my appearance, no young woman thinks she is attractive or beautiful, probably that also makes them more vulnerable, innocent and approachable, even on the stage I look so unsure of myself but today i will give anything to look the way I looked bak then and its not just the looks but natural vitality, agility and over all energy levels that I didn't appreciate back then."

She followed this with an inspiring message for women: "My message to all the ladies out there, today is the youngest you will ever be, every age and stage is beautiful. Learn to be kind to yourself. Even if you can't find beauty in your reflection know that when you will look back you will find it but today trust that you are beautiful," she concluded.

On the work front, Kangana's highly-anticipated period political drama Emergency was initially scheduled for release on 6th September 2024 but was delayed due to certification issues. The film has now received a U/A certification, and a new release date is expected to be announced soon.
