Kangana stated, "This is a very shameful thing today, the difference between a man and a woman are very beautiful, that differences are looked at as discrimination, jo ki sachai nahi h." She continued, "A man is a man and a woman is a woman and their togetherness is a beautiful happening aur mujhe nahi lagta hai ki is tarah ke petty issues ke why I am addressed with my husband's name...people in the name of feminism they're just going into such an ugly direction..." She expressed sadness over Jaya's reaction.

Kangana believes that the differences between men and women should be celebrated rather than viewed as discriminatory. She feels that addressing someone by their spouse's name should not be considered offensive. According to her, feminism should not lead to such negative reactions.
