The much-awaited trailer of Kalki 2898 AD will be released on June 10 (Monday). The trailer will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi. The Hindi trailer will premiere simultaneously at 6 PM on June 10.

Kalki 2898 AD reportedly chronicles some events of the Mahabharata set in the year 3102 BC. In an interaction with Deadline, Nag Ashwin clarified that the movie "does not involve any characters actively worshipped by large numbers of Hindus". He added, "We can take it as extremely religious or we can take it as the story of somebody who was born with a lot of power, didn't know what to do with it, and found his mentor in the process".
