Kalki 2898 AD Hindi Box Office Buzz: What Experts Say About Its Success

Kalki 2898 AD Hindi Box Office: Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani star in the highly anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD. The filmmakers have released two trailers so far, both receiving positive feedback. Recently, a significant pre-release event took place in Mumbai, attended by the film's cast.

The Nag Ashwin-directed movie is primarily shot in Telugu with some scenes in Hindi. It will be dubbed and released in multiple languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English. Filmibeat interviewed producer and film business expert Girish Johar about the Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD.

When asked about the film's buzz in the Hindi-speaking regions, Johar said, "The first trailer of the film was quite average, and the excitement level is not that great. However, as it is the biggest film of the year and the industry, there's some curiosity level and come traction among the audiences."

"Prabhas' films always get a good opening, and there are huge stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in the movie. The advance booking has been of a decent level like around 15000 (in Hindi belt, all languages) tickets have been sold. So, fingers crossed!," Johar added.

Kalki 2898 AD is scheduled to hit theatres on 27th June 2024. Since its official announcement, it has been making headlines. The movie reportedly has a massive budget of Rs. 600 crore. Therefore, it needs a strong box office opening across all languages.

Prabhas' fans have high hopes for this film as his previous release Adipurush did not meet audience expectations.
