Kakuda: The Perfect Blend Of Laughter And Frights In Family Comedy Horror
Kakuda First Review: Sonakshi Sinha is in the limelight for both her personal and professional life. Recently married to her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal, she is now drawing attention for her upcoming film, Kakuda. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for his hit Munjya, Kakuda stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Salim alongside Sonakshi. This horror comedy is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies and is set to release on July 12.
The trailer has generated significant buzz, leading to a special screening that was attended by several celebrities. Stars like Jibran Khan, Zaheer Iqbal, Bhagyashree Limaye, Abhay Verma, and Sharvari were present at the event. Social media is now filled with reviews of this much-anticipated horror comedy.

Director Abir Sengupta praised Kakuda on Instagram, calling it an ideal family horror comedy. He wrote, "Mazaaaa Aa Gaya!!! A perfect family comedy horror! Congratulations to the whole team". Actress Rashi Mal also shared her thoughts, "@aditya_a_sarpotdar loved Zombivli and loved KAKUDA! @riteishd you were fabulous! #newmancrush @saqibsaleem you were so endearing."
Saqib Salim discussed his role in Kakuda with Zoom. He said, "When I read the script, I felt like it's extremely funny on paper and the character was a simple guy from a village and I've never played a role like this. After reading the script, I went to meet Aditya. I thought he was a very confident guy who knew exactly what he wanted to do. So year, I read the script at night and the next day in the evening we were doing the film. I wouldn't call it a template horror comedy. I think the folklore of the ghosts makes it far more different from the other films. You may think that lots of horror comedies are there but when you watch, you'll find the differences"
With its unique blend of humour and horror elements rooted in folklore, Kakuda promises to offer something distinct from typical horror comedies. The positive early reviews suggest that audiences can look forward to an entertaining experience.
