John Abraham Surpasses Akshay Kumar In Day 1 Advance Bookings Showdown
Vedaa vs Khel Khel Mein Advance Booking Day 1: Akshay Kumar, a prominent Bollywood actor, is set to entertain audiences once again with his third release of the year. Following the success of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira, he now stars in Khel Khel Mein. The film also features Taapsee Pannu, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein is a comedy-drama and the official Bollywood remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers. This movie marks Akshay's second collaboration with Vaani Kapoor after Bell Bottom and his third with Taapsee Pannu following Baby, Naam Shabana, and Mission Mangal. With significant buzz around it, Khel Khel Mein is set to clash at the box office with John Abraham and Sharvari's Vedaa. Both films have generated considerable interest, prompting early advance bookings.

According to Sacnilk reports, Khel Khel Mein has seen a slow start in advance bookings, selling 5,465 tickets and collecting Rs 22.32 lakhs. In contrast, Vedaa has sold over 10 thousand tickets across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions, amassing Rs 29.97 lakhs in advance bookings. Clearly, John's Vedaa is outperforming Akshay's Khel Khel Mein in initial ticket sales.
This marks the third time Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are clashing at the box office. Their previous clashes include Gold versus Satyameva Jayate in 2018 and Mission Mangal against Batla House in 2019. Discussing this competition with News18 Showsa, Akshay said, "We're close buddies. Clashes at the box office keep happening. It's not a big deal at all. It's just a clash and not a slash."
The anticipation for both films remains high as they prepare for their releases. Fans are eager to see how these movies perform against each other in theatres. The rivalry between Akshay Kumar and John Abraham continues to be a point of interest for Bollywood enthusiasts.
