Jigra Vs Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video: Box Office Predictions For Day 1 Clash
The festive season of Navratri is in full swing, and the Indian box office is witnessing a significant clash between two major releases. Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina's "Jigra" competes with Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri's "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video." Despite their different genres, both films have generated substantial excitement among fans.
"Jigra" is an action thriller about a young girl determined to rescue her brother from a foreign prison. In contrast, "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video" is a comedy about a couple whose first-night video CD gets stolen, leading to hilarious situations. This box office battle has sparked curiosity about which film will dominate the box office.

Film producer and business expert Girish Johar shared insights with Filmibeat, saying, "Jigra is a drama, thriller, action but in an intelligent space. It's targeting tier one and the metro cities. I would be happy if the film opens anywhere Rs 5-6cr plus to start with."
Discussing Rajkummar and Tripti's first collaboration, Girish Johar remarked, "That's a commercial film, the music has been quite appreciated. Gaane bhi pasand aaye hain, trailer bhi logon ko pasand aaya hai. It's targeting a mass set of audiences including tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3. So I am expecting a good start. I would be happy if the film opens anywhere around Rs 7-8 crores mark to start with."
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video To Beat Jigra On Opening Day
Reports suggest that "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video" might outperform "Jigra" on its opening day by a narrow margin. While Rajkummar's film seems to have an edge over Alia's action-packed thriller initially, it remains to be seen which movie will ultimately lead in box office earnings in the following days.
