Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction: Alia Bhatt's Film Faces Challenges In Reaching 20 Crores

Alia Bhatt's latest film, 'Jigra', released on 11th October, is facing a challenging time at the box office. Despite being produced by Karan Johar, Alia, and Viacom18, the film has not met expectations. Alia plays 'Satya', who goes to great lengths to save her brother Ankur, portrayed by Vedang Raina.

The movie hit theatres alongside Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'. Although there was some anticipation, 'Jigra' received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. Additionally, controversies have arisen, including allegations of box office manipulation and favouritism involving Alia and Karan Johar.

Directed by Vasan Bala, 'Jigra' had a lacklustre start with an opening day collection of approximately Rs 4.5 crore. The film saw a slight increase in earnings on Saturday, reaching Rs 6.5 crore. However, it experienced a decline on Sunday with Rs 5.47 crore and continued to drop significantly on Monday.

According to Sacnilk's report, the film earned around Rs 1.60 crore on Tuesday, bringing its total Hindi collection over five days to Rs 19.7 crore.

The current trend suggests that 'Jigra' might earn between Rs 1 crore and Rs 1.5 crore by the end of day six.

The film's performance has been underwhelming compared to other releases in Alia's career like 'Kalank' and 'Shaandaar'. With ongoing controversies and mixed reviews affecting its run, it remains uncertain how much more it can earn in the coming days.
