Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction: Alia Bhatt's Film Struggles To Meet Budget Expectations
Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction Day 5: Alia Bhatt's latest film, Jigra, is facing challenges at the box office. Despite her popularity, the movie hasn't attracted large audiences. The jail-break thriller has also been caught in controversies, with accusations ranging from favouritism to 'fake' collections and claims of copying Divya Khossla's 'Satya'.
The film, directed by Vasan Bala, hit theatres on 11th October. It faced competition from Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'. This clash added to the challenges Jigra faced in drawing viewers.

Featuring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, Jigra received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. Produced by Dharma Productions, Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Viacom18 Studios, it earned Rs 4.5 crore on its opening day. Over the weekend, it collected Rs 6.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.47 crore on Sunday.
Sacnilk reported that Jigra experienced a significant drop on its first Monday. The film earned approximately Rs 1.63 crore that day, bringing its total estimated Hindi collection to Rs 18.1 crore over four days.
According to Sacnilk's latest update, Jigra collected around Rs 23 lakhs by 2 pm on its fifth day (first Tuesday). Given the current interest levels, it's expected to earn between Rs 1-1.5 crore today.
The movie was made with a substantial budget of Rs 90 crore but is struggling to meet these financial expectations. The ongoing challenges at the box office highlight the difficulties it faces in achieving profitability.
