Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction Day 4: Alia Bhatt's Film Faces Major Decline Amid Controversy

Despite Alia Bhatt's star appeal, the film "Jigra" is facing challenges at the box office. Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Dharma Productions, Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Viacom18 Studios, this jail-break thriller features Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina. The plot revolves around a sister's desperate attempt to save her brother.

The movie premiered on Friday, October 11, amidst moderate anticipation. It clashed with "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video," starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri. Both films are struggling to attract audiences, but "Jigra" is trailing behind its competitor.

"Jigra," led by Alia Bhatt, received mixed reviews from both critics and audiences. According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 4.5 crore on its first day. Despite a slow start, it saw growth on Saturday with Rs 6.5 crore but experienced a decline on Sunday. The total estimated collection for the first three days stands at Rs 16.67 crore (nett Hindi).

Amidst these controversies and its clash with "Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video," "Jigra" is expected to see a significant drop in collections today, which is its first Monday at the box office.

Sacnilk reports that by 1:30 pm today, the film has earned approximately Rs 23 lakhs. Given current trends, it is projected to collect between Rs 2-3 crore on day four, struggling to reach the Rs 20 crore milestone.
