Jigra Box Office Collection Prediction Day 16: Will Alia Bhatt's Film Cross 30 Crores Today?
Alia Bhatt's latest film, 'Jigra,' directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar, Alia, and Viacom18 Studios, is facing challenges at the box office. Released on 11th October, it clashed with 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri. Despite initial excitement, the film has struggled to attract audiences.
Before its release, 'Jigra' was embroiled in controversies involving plagiarism accusations and allegations of favouritism. These issues may have impacted its performance despite Alia's star appeal. The film features Bhatt as 'Satya' and Vedang Raina as her brother 'Ankur'.

The jail-break thriller-drama 'Jigra,' starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, received mixed reviews from both critics and audiences. It had a modest start at the box office, earning around Rs 4.5 crore on its first day. Although there was some growth on the second day, it couldn't sustain this momentum.
By the end of its first week in theatres, 'Jigra' had collected Rs 22.24 crore. In its second week, it added approximately Rs 6.85 crore to its total earnings. However, the film's performance continued to decline.
According to Sacnilk reports, 'Jigra' saw further declines on its third Friday, earning only about Rs 39 lakhs. This brought its estimated net collection over 15 days to Rs 29.48 crore.
The film is struggling to surpass the Rs 30-crore milestone at the box office. On its third Saturday (day 16), it's anticipated to earn between Rs 30-50 lakhs. To reach the Rs 30-crore mark today, it needs to earn around Rs 52 lakhs.
'Jigra' might achieve this target either today or tomorrow if it manages a slight increase in collections.
