Jigra Box Office Collection Analysis: Alia Bhatt's Film Faces Significant Decline On Second Monday

Jigra Box Office Collection Day 11: Alia Bhatt's film 'Jigra' has not performed well at the box office, despite initial excitement. Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Viacom18 Studios, the thriller was released on October 11, 2024. The movie has faced allegations of favouritism, fake box office numbers, and plagiarism.

The film features Alia Bhatt as 'Satya' and Vedang Raina as 'Ankur', with Manoj Pahwa in a significant role. It received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. Competing with Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri's 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video', 'Jigra' earned about Rs 4.5 crore on its first day. Although it saw growth on Saturday, it struggled to attract viewers from the third day onwards.

On its second Monday, according to Sacnilk reports, 'Jigra' experienced its lowest single-day earnings. The film's revenue dropped by over 50%, collecting only around Rs 60 lakhs based on early estimates. After 11 days, the total Hindi nett collection is approximately Rs 27.59 crore. As it approaches its third week in theatres, the film struggles to reach the Rs 30 crore mark.

On Monday, October 21, the movie reportedly had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of just 8.56%.

'Jigra' continues to face challenges at the box office despite a promising start and notable cast members like Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina leading the film.
