The movie Jigra was produced with a budget of Rs. 90 Crores, as reported by Bollywood Hungama. Out of this, Rs. 80 Crores were allocated for production, while Rs. 10 Crores were spent on print and publicity efforts.

Dharma Productions has already recovered the entire Rs. 90 Crores budget, according to sources. The combination of Alia Bhatt and director Vasan Bala attracted a premium price from Netflix, which paid Rs. 70 Crores for the film. Additionally, the movie secured Rs. 20 Crores from satellite rights, totaling Rs. 90 Crores in deals made before release.
With these pre-release earnings, any additional revenue will be pure profit for the filmmakers.
Jigra will premiere in theatres on Friday, October 11, 2024. Typically, films take around 80-85 days to appear on OTT platforms after their theatrical run. Although an exact OTT release date hasn't been confirmed, it's anticipated that Jigra might be available in early 2025.
Apart from Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, the cast includes Jason Shah, Yuvraj Vijan, and Aditya Nanda. The film is penned and directed by Vasan Bala and produced under Eternal Sunshine Production and Dharma Productions.
