Jigra Advance Booking Report: Alia Bhatt And Vedang Raina's Film Experiences Significant Ticket Sales Growth
Alia Bhatt is set to return to the big screen with her new film, 'Jigra', after more than a year since her last release, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. Directed by Vasan Bala, known for films like 'Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota' and 'Monica, O My Darling', this prison-break thriller-drama is Alia's second production venture following 'Darlings'.
The film features Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina from 'The Archies', and is co-produced by Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The story revolves around Satya, played by Alia, who fights against all odds to save her younger brother Ankur, portrayed by Vedang. Manoj Pahwa also plays a significant role in the movie.

'Jigra' tells an emotional tale of a sister's struggle to protect her brother. This film marks Vedang Raina's debut on the big screen. The teaser, trailer, and songs have generated considerable excitement ahead of its release. Scheduled to premiere on October 11, it will compete with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri's much-anticipated film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'.
The advance booking for 'Jigra' began yesterday. According to Koimoi, ticket sales surged over 1500% just before its release. The film has already earned more than Rs 56.11 lakhs in pre-sales for its opening day at the box office.
