Jhamkudi OTT Release Date: Watch The Gujarati Horror-Comedy On ShemarooMe From 17th October

This year, the Gujarati film "Jhamkudi" has captured audiences' attention by earning 25 crores at the box office, making it the highest-grossing Gujarati film. The horror-comedy is set to premiere digitally on ShemarooMe on 17th October. It stars National Award-winning actress Manasi Parekh and marks influencer Viraj Ghelani's debut in Gujarati cinema. The cast also includes Ojas Rawal, Sanjay Goradia, Jayesh More, Krunal Pandit, Chetan Daiya, and Bhavini Jani.

Directed by Umang Vyas, "Jhamkudi" combines humour with horror in a unique narrative set in Raniwada village. The story revolves around a curse placed by the witch JHAMKUDI during Navratri festivities. Real estate agent Bablo and royal heir Kumud must confront the witch's vengeance. With unexpected twists and supernatural elements, it offers a fresh perspective on horror-comedy.

The film elevates Gujarati cinema with its impressive visual effects that intensify the horror experience. Its title track, reimagined by Aghori Muzik and featuring vocals by Manasi Parekh, has become a fan favourite. This song perfectly captures the haunting essence of the movie.
