Ishq Vishk Rebound: Rohit Saraf Outshines In Gen Z Rom-Com Despite Mixed Reviews
Ishq Vishk Rebound Twitter Review: Remember Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Arora's 2003 release Ishq Vishk? Ken Ghosh's romantic comedy was a massive hit, captivating audiences with Shahid's charm and Amrita's innocence. Now, two decades later, Nipun Dharmadhikari has given this rom-com a modern twist with a new trio: Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, and Jibran Khan. Titled Ishq Vishk Rebound, this Gen Z romantic comedy marks the debut of Pashmina and Jibran.
From the trailer to the intriguing cast and appealing music, everything about Ishq Vishk Rebound has generated significant buzz. The audience was eager to see this new-age love triangle with fresh faces on the big screen. However, initial reports suggest that Ishq Vishk Rebound has not met audience expectations. As the movie hits theatres today, here's what netizens are saying about it.

Taking to Twitter, a user wrote, "#IshqVishkRebound Review - Gaane baap aur kuch gaane mein khulke nachne ka maan krra! Film mein mehnat nazar aata hain aur Rohit saraf ka dance moves itna smooth! Part 1 aur bhi zyada acha tha! Thoda morden touch aur old vibe bhi hain! Climax mein ek twist bhi. 3.5/5 stars."
On the other hand, netizens also feel that Rohit has outshone others in the film. A Twitter user tweeted, "Attempt at a Gen Z perspective, portrayed by millennial actors, produced & created by boomers. I liked Jibraan. Rohit is stuck in his Noah Centineo bubble still. Dances brilliantly. The rest of it is well... forgettable. #IshqVishkRebound".

Meanwhile, Rohit expressed his excitement about Ishq Vishk Rebound as it fulfilled his dream of dancing on screen. Speaking to PTI, he said, "I feel no matter how serious an actor you are, one would always want an opportunity in life where they can kind of sink in slow motion and dance... This was the first time I ever got to do that in a film... I was very excited by it. It was on my bucket list. And what's even more exciting is that it really helps you connect with the audiences. Like, there were so many people who came up to us and said, 'When we saw the song, it felt like you were singing to us.' To me, that is such a big deal."
