Anything below that will be difficult. If it’s around 2 crore, it will be good," Johar stated. He added, "The awareness about the film in metro cities is there but slightly underwhelming. However, there is hope that word of mouth might bring a change during the weekend. It's a young film, and they have promoted the music extensively. Ultimately, it all depends on the content of the film. If the audience appreciates it and it meets their expectations, a decent weekend could be on the cards."

Rohit Saraf expressed his excitement about Ishq Vishk Rebound as it allowed him to fulfil his dream of dancing on screen. Speaking to PTI, he said, "I feel no matter how serious an actor you are, one would always want an opportunity to dance in slow motion in a film. This was my first time doing that, and I was very excited. It was on my bucket list. What's even more exciting is that it helps you connect with audiences. Many people told us that when they saw the song, it felt like we were singing to them. To me, that is such a big deal."
