Adah Sharma Exclusive: Adah Sharma has established herself as a daring and adaptable actress in Indian cinema. Her remarkable success with The Kerala Story made her the top-grossing female star ever. She continues to excel with notable roles in Reeta Sanyal, Sunflower 2, and Bastar, consistently challenging norms with each new project.
In a conversation with Filmibeat, Adah Sharma discussed the incredible reception of Reeta Sanyal and the pressure from fans' expectations. She also shared her aspiration to star in a dance film and hinted at what fans can anticipate from her upcoming ventures.

Reeta Sanyal, her latest release on Disney Plus Hotstar, achieved significant success. Reflecting on its reception, Adah said, "Reeta Sanyal was an experiment because we haven't seen anything in this genre in India. When asked about handling fans' expectations, she expressed enthusiasm: "I love the pressure of high expectations. There's a lot more action, romance, comedy, drama."
The Kerala Story stands as the highest-grossing female-led film in Indian cinema history. On this achievement, Adah remarked, "The Kerala story is a very special film. It made history at the box office. For me, it will remain even more special for the number of hearts we touched and the people all over the world who watched the movie and made a permanent place for me in their hearts."
Adah is known for portraying varied characters across her projects. She revealed her desire to feature in a dance film soon: "I would love to do a dance film. I've completed my graduation in Kathak and when I started doing movies I thought I will be doing a lot of dance films. I guess whenever the time is right."
Fans eagerly await sequels to 1920, Reeta Sanyal, among others. Expressing joy about this anticipation, she concluded by saying, "It's lovely that people want sequels of Commando, Sunflower, Reeta Sanyal, and 1920. I promise there are a lot of sequels in the making."
