Iqbal Khan, a well-known actor, has taken on various roles throughout his career. However, he has never played a completely villainous character until now. In Disney+ Hotstar's series "Commander Karan Saxena," he finally gets to explore this dark and thrilling side. The actor expressed his excitement about this new venture.

Discussing his role as Chief Nasir, Iqbal Khan shared, "I had fun, just absolute fun. Too much fun playing my character because it's something that I'm not, and something that I've been wanting to do this for a very long time." He highlighted how different this role is from his previous ones.

"Physically, I think the climax was slightly physically taxing, both for me and Gurmeet, because I think it's just a four-minute sequence. It's a one-to-one fight, and it's a four-minute sequence. And we shot for the entire day in beautiful heat," he added.

Khan noted that he has mostly portrayed positive characters in his career. Even when playing roles with grey shades, they were never entirely negative. This new character is entirely different and more challenging for him.

"This is completely out and out. That's why it makes it more fun," he said. His enthusiasm for stepping into a purely villainous role is evident in his words.
