IFFM 2024 Nominations Announced: Jawan Tops Film Category, Made In Heaven 2 Leads OTT

Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024 Nominations: The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024 is back with its 15th edition, revealing the eagerly awaited nominations. As the largest Indian film festival held abroad, IFFM nominations highlight the diversity and richness of Indian cinema each year.

The IFFM, supported by the Victorian Government in Australia, is an annual event celebrating Indian cinema. It showcases top films, digital series, and talents from India. This year, the festival will run from 15th August to 25th August. The IFFM awards have become a significant part of the yearly award season, representing inclusion, diversity, languages, scale, and genres.

This year’s festival will feature Shah Rukh Khan competing for Best Actor against talents like Vikrant Massey, Fahadh Faasil, Ranveer Singh, Kartik Aaryan, and Mithun Chakraborty. Alia Bhatt will vie for Best Actress alongside Jyothika and Parvathy Thiruvothu. Emerging talents from "Laapataa Ladies," Nitanshi Goel and Pratibha Ranta are also nominated. In the OTT category, series like Heeramandi and Made In Heaven Season 2 are in contention.

The winners of the prestigious IFFM 2024 Awards will be announced at their annual gala night on 16th August at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne.
