'The Rage Room': Hyderabad's Innovative Pitch On Shark Tank India Season 3
In the latest episode of 'Shark Tank India' season 3, an intriguing business proposition caught the attention of both viewers and investors. Suraj Pusarla from Hyderabad introduced 'The Rage Room', a novel concept aimed at providing a safe space for individuals to release stress and anger. Launched in October 2022, this venture offers a unique therapeutic experience, allowing people to break objects in a controlled environment as a form of stress relief.
The inspiration behind 'The Rage Room' stems from Suraj's personal struggles with anger management during his youth. He sought an investment of Rs 20 lakh for a 30 per cent stake in his company during his pitch on the show. The idea resonated with the sharks, particularly Anupam Mittal, the Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, who acknowledged the potential benefits of such a concept. The pitch also sparked playful interactions among the sharks, including a jest by Mittal that alluded to Ashneer Grover's well-known temper.

The entrepreneurs on the panel, including Aman Gupta, co-founder and CMO of boAt, and Peyush Bansal, co-founder and CEO of Lenskart, had the opportunity to experience 'The Rage Room' firsthand. Suraj emphasized the eco-friendly nature of his business, highlighting that all materials used in the rage room are recycled post-use.
Despite the positive reception and engaging presentation, 'The Rage Room' did not secure an investment from the sharks. Reflecting on his experience, Suraj expressed exhilaration and gratitude for the chance to present his idea on such a significant platform. He remains hopeful about the future prospects of his venture, viewing the feedback and exposure gained through Shark Tank as valuable assets for growth.
'Shark Tank India 3' continues to provide a stage for entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas to a panel of seasoned investors. Suraj's journey on the show exemplifies the blend of challenges and opportunities inherent in introducing a unique business model to potential backers.
