Fighter Movie Hits 200Cr Milestone: Hrithik and Deepika's Power-Packed Performance

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's much-anticipated film, "Fighter," has achieved a significant milestone by joining the Rs 200 crores club. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this aerial action drama marks the first on-screen collaboration between Roshan and Padukone, generating considerable excitement among fans. The cast also includes notable names such as Akshaye Oberoi, Anil Kapoor, and Karan Singh Grover. Despite facing stiff competition and experiencing fluctuating box office numbers during weekdays, "Fighter" has demonstrated resilience, particularly during weekends.

The film kicked off its box office journey with an opening day collection of Rs 22.5 crores but encountered challenges in maintaining momentum during the weekdays. Nonetheless, weekend performances have consistently provided a boost to its earnings. Notably, on Valentine's Day (day 21/third Wednesday), "Fighter" surpassed the Rs 200 crore mark, with a reported collection of Rs 1.75 crores on that day alone, bringing its total to Rs 200.9 crores. This achievement is particularly impressive given its ongoing competition with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya."

Fighter Hits 200Cr: Stellar Star Performances

According to projections, "Fighter" is expected to see a slight decline in collections on day 22 (fourth Thursday), with anticipated earnings of around Rs 1 crore. However, the film aims to surpass Rs 5 crores by the end of this week. Hrithik Roshan has expressed his admiration for co-star Deepika Padukone's work ethic and realism in acting. In an interview with ANI, Roshan highlighted the genuine and vulnerable portrayal of their characters, Patty and Minni, attributing the success of their on-screen chemistry to Padukone's authentic approach to her role.

This collaboration between two of Bollywood's most celebrated stars has not only captivated audiences but also set new benchmarks in the genre of aerial action dramas. With its steady performance at the box office and critical acclaim for the lead actors' performances, "Fighter" continues to be a significant draw for moviegoers.
