Gurmeet Choudhary has captivated audiences with his portrayal of Commander Karan Saxena in Disney+ Hotstar's series. He attributes his performance to the guidance of director Jatin Wagle, describing himself as a true director's actor.
Gurmeet Choudhary expressed his admiration for Jatin Wagle, stating, "Jatin sir is a fantastic director. He directed me with such thrill and honesty that I tried my best to be my director's actor and follow his guidance precisely." This highlights the significant role the director played in shaping his performance.
Choudhary also mentioned his long-standing relationship with co-star Iqbal Khan. Despite playing opposite characters, their off-camera interactions were enjoyable. "Iqbal sir and I have known each other for a long time, and we played opposite characters. We didn't often speak much on set because we were both so immersed in our roles, but off camera and during promotions, we are having a ball of a time," he said.
The camaraderie among the cast members extended beyond just Choudhary and Khan. Gurmeet praised Hruta Durgule for her exceptional portrayal of her character. "Hruta is an amazing girl who portrays her character exceptionally well and I'm very happy for her," he noted. The ease with which the cast connected contributed to an enjoyable filming experience.
