Guneet Monga Kapoor Reveals Father-in-law's Aid During Gyaarah Gyaarah Shoot
Guneet Monga Kapoor, the Oscar-winning producer, has once again made waves in Indian cinema with ZEE5's latest series, Gyaarah Gyaarah. This captivating show combines elements of thrill and crime investigation, spanning different time periods to engage viewers. With over 50 crore watch minutes, it has become a top hit on ZEE5. Guneet's bold venture into this genre demonstrates that Indian audiences are eager for intricate and compelling stories.
Guneet Monga Kapoor recounted a particularly chaotic moment during the filming of Gyaarah Gyaarah. "Every day, we prayed for sunshine, dreading the fog, as we were shooting in the mountains in January and February, with no room for delays. Things took a crazier turn when, mid-shoot, the hotel booked for the crew was sold out for three days due to a wedding. And you can't just move your crew for a day and then bring them back! Thankfully, my father-in-law told me that he has friends in Dehradun who own hotels and swooped in last minute to secure hotel arrangements just in time."

Discussing the decision to adapt Gyaarah Gyaarah officially, Guneet shared her initial attraction to the concept and how they brought it to Umesh Bist. "I was immediately drawn to the concept, and then we brought it to Umesh Bist. It was amazing to see Umesh truly make it his own, asking, 'How do we make this uniquely Indian? Where should we set it?' We could have placed it anywhere but ultimately chose the mountains of Dehradun, Uttarakhand." She highlighted how the location itself became an integral part of the show's narrative.
