Gulmohar Triumphs At The 70th National Film Awards With Best Film Honour From President Droupadi Murmu

The film 'GULMOHAR' by Star Studios has been honoured with several awards at the 70th National Film Awards. It took home the titles of BEST FILM (Hindi), BEST DIALOGUES, and a SPECIAL MENTION for Manoj Bajpayee. The awards were presented by President Smt. Droupadi Murmu during the ceremony.

Bikram Duggal, Head of Studios at Disney Star, expressed his joy upon receiving the awards for Gulmohar. He stated, "It has been an absolutely incredible experience to be part of India's most prestigious film awards ceremony and to receive the National Award today for Gulmohar from our President Smt. Droupadi Murmu. Stories that resonate deeply and bring families together are especially important in today's digital age and Gulmohar is one such story, with its heartwarming narrative. Director Rahul V. Chittella shared his excitement about receiving such a prestigious award for Gulmohar. Along with having won the Best Hindi Film and Best Dialogues award with my co-writer, Arpita Mukherjee, I'm also particularly delighted that Manoj Bajpayee has won the best actor (special mention). 'Gulmohar' features an impressive cast including Sharmila Tagore, who returned to acting after ten years, alongside Manoj Bajpayee, Simran, Suraj Sharma, and Amol Palekar. The film was directed by Rahul V. Chittella.

This production was brought to life by Star Studios in collaboration with Chalkboard Entertainment and Autonomous Works. The music score was composed by Siddhartha Khosla, known for 'This is Us'. The screenplay was crafted by Rahul V. Chittella along with Arpita Mukherjee.
