Bollywood star Govinda is on the mend after a leg injury last month. The injury happened when he accidentally fired his revolver, leading to urgent surgery at Mumbai's Criticare Hospital. Due to this incident, Govinda missed Diwali celebrations as doctors advised him to rest during his recovery.

Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, provided an update on his health. She mentioned that he is recovering well but had to skip Diwali festivities for rest. Sunita shared these details while speaking with a popular paparazzi outlet. She was seen with her daughter, Tina Ahuja, preparing for their Diwali celebration in festive attire. Sunita wore a black sharara set, and Tina donned a pink-grey ombre saree, highlighting their effort to keep the festive spirit alive despite Govinda's absence.

Yashvardhan Ahuja, Govinda and Sunita's son, also shared updates about his father's recovery at a Diwali event. He informed the media that Govinda's stitches had been removed and that the 60-year-old actor was healing well.
