Following the success of Godzilla vs Kong during the COVID-19 pandemic, Legendary announced its sequel - Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - in March 2022. This film is the fifth installment in the Monsterverse franchise and serves as the 38th film of the Godzilla series and the 13th in the King Kong series.

The movie features Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottl reprising their roles from the previous film. Joining them are Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen in significant roles.

In this sci-fi action thriller, Kong discovers more of his kind in Hollow Earth. He must team up with Godzilla once again to thwart the tyrannical Skar King and Shimo, who possesses frost-breathing powers, from invading Earth's surface.

After a five-month theatrical run, Godzilla x Kong is finally making its way to OTT platforms. It will be available exclusively on JioCinema Premium starting 29th August 2024. Viewers can watch it in seven languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi.
