Gaurav Manwane Fulfills Dream By Working With Akshay Kumar In Debut Film

Despite receiving positive reviews, "Khel Khel Mein," featuring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Pragya Jaiswal, Ammy Virk, and Aditya Seal, has struggled to make a strong start at the box office. The film also marks the debut of Gaurav Manwane.

In an interview with Filmibeat, Gaurav shared his excitement about his debut. He said, "I'm pretty excited and I'm looking forward to this one. I feel, it's actually surreal for me, and it's like a dream come true for me. It's my first film. I have worked alongside a stellar cast including my childhood hero Akshay Kumar. I've been a huge fan of his work for years and this opportunity is almost magical. I couldn't have asked for something better."

Gaurav plays a significant role in "Khel Khel Mein." When asked if he hesitated to accept a non-lead role, he responded confidently. "No. Actually, saying yes to Khel Khel Mein was an immediate decision because it is my first film and I am getting an opportunity to work with Akshay Kumar. Working with AK sir was in my bucket list, I always wanted to work with him and I have admired him for years. Also, my character is prominent; the entire wedding chunk includes me. So, it is not that like he just comes and goes; it is visible and established, and it is making some change in the story as well. So, as a newcomer, I feel Khel Khel Mein would provide me with an incredible learning experience and a platform to showcase my ability. So, it is a big thing for me."

The movie has collected Rs. 7 crore over two days which is quite low. It needs a significant boost over the weekend to improve its performance at the box office. The success of "Stree 2" has impacted its earnings.

Gaurav's enthusiasm reflects his passion for acting and admiration for Akshay Kumar. His role in "Khel Khel Mein" might be small but holds importance within the storyline.

The film's initial box office performance indicates challenges ahead despite favourable reviews from critics.
