Game Changer Box Office Collection Day 1: Kiara Advani Experiences Second Lowest Opener Post-Pandemic

Kiara Advani, who recently appeared in the 2024 film Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kartik Aaryan, is making waves with her latest project, Game Changer. Directed by S Shankar, this political action drama also stars Ram Charan in a prominent role. The film features an ensemble cast including Samuthirakani, S. J. Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra, Vennela Kishore, Vijaya Krishna Naresh, and Brahmanandam. Produced by Dil Raju, Game Changer has captured significant attention.

Game Changer has been released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil languages and showcases Ram Charan in a dual role. This marks Kiara's third Telugu film following Bharat Ane Nenu in 2018 and Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019. Additionally, it is her second collaboration with Ram Charan. The film has generated considerable buzz and received a decent response at the Hindi box office.

According to Sacnilk's report, Game Changer received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics upon its release. On its first day in the Hindi market, the film collected Rs 7 crores.

Despite the attention Kiara has garnered for her role in Game Changer, the film became her second lowest opening post-COVID-19 pandemic after Indoo Ki Jawani. Notably, Indoo Ki Jawani had earned Rs 22 lakhs on its release day.

Ram Charan expressed his excitement about working with director S Shankar on Game Changer. He shared his thoughts: "I don't know how my dad will feel, but I feel blessed that I got to work with Shankar. He should've done it with dad. But I'm very fortunate. It's a blessing to work for five years with Rajamouli Garu and then Shankar Garu; it is so enriching as an actor; there's so much to learn."
