FIR Filed Against Sharad Kapoor Following Serious Sexual Harassment Allegations In Mumbai
A complaint has been filed against actor Sharad Kapoor, known for his roles in films like 'Josh', 'LOC Kargil', and 'Lakshya'. The allegations involve sexual harassment, with a 32-year-old woman accusing him of inappropriate behaviour and unwanted physical contact. The incident allegedly occurred at Kapoor's residence, where he reportedly attempted to misbehave with the complainant.
The woman met Kapoor through Facebook, and their interactions moved from social media to video calls. Kapoor expressed interest in meeting her under the guise of discussing a shooting project. He sent her his location, directing her to an office in Khar. However, upon arrival, she realised it was his home. A man answered the door, and Kapoor called her into his bedroom.

The accusations against Kapoor are serious, involving sections 74 (Assault or use of criminal force against a woman), 75 (sexual harassment), and 79 (insulting the modesty of any woman) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. Despite these grave charges, neither Kapoor nor his representatives have commented on the situation.
After the incident, Kapoor allegedly sent the victim a WhatsApp message containing offensive language. Disturbed by this experience, she confided in a friend who helped her file a complaint at the Khar police station. Currently, Kapoor has not made any public statements regarding these allegations.
