Fighter Movie's Box Office Journey: Poised to Cross £205 Million on Day 25
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's latest film, Fighter, continues to captivate audiences nearly a month after its release. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this aerial action drama showcases the duo as Indian Air Force officers, alongside notable performances from Anil Kapoor, Akshaye Oberoi, and Karan Singh Oberoi. Since its debut, Fighter has experienced a steady performance in terms of box office collections. It kicked off with an impressive opening day collection of Rs 22.5 crores and swiftly surpassed the Rs 100 crores milestone over its opening weekend. Significantly, on Valentine's Day, Fighter crossed the Rs 200 crores mark. Post-Valentine's Day, there was a noticeable dip in its collections; however, it rebounded with a 94% growth in collections during its fourth weekend, as reported by Sacnilk. This surge added Rs 1.65 crores to its earnings on the fourth Saturday alone, bringing its total to Rs 204.3 crores.
The movie is projected to add approximately Rs 1.5-2 crores to its total on the fourth Sunday, potentially reaching beyond the Rs 205 crores threshold. Amidst competition from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, it remains to be seen how Fighter will perform in its fourth week at the box office.
In a conversation with ANI, Hrithik Roshan expressed his admiration for co-star Deepika Padukone's work ethic and realism in acting. He highlighted how Deepika's genuine approach helped him ensure that their on-screen interactions remained authentic and engaging. According to Hrithik, their characters' vulnerability and endearing nature were significantly enhanced by Deepika's performance.
