Fateh: Sonu Sood Reveals Journey Behind His Cybercrime Action Thriller Set For January 2025 Release

Sonu Sood's upcoming film, Fateh, delves into the intense world of cybercrime. The movie features Sonu as a former special operations officer with a troubled past. His mission is to dismantle a vast cybercriminal network. The trailer hints at an intense narrative where the quest for a missing woman sparks a relentless battle involving physical confrontations and determination.

At the trailer launch event, Sonu shared insights about Fateh's inception, which began three and a half years ago. "It started during Covid, when I was connecting with people, and cyber threats were everywhere," he said. "That's when the idea for this story came to me. During that time, a lot of films were being released, and I felt this was the right moment to tell a story like this."

Sonu expressed surprise at how the project expanded beyond initial expectations. "When we started working on the script, I never imagined we'd shoot in the US or Dubai," Sonu explained. With top Hollywood professionals like Lee Whittaker on board, Fateh soon became an international collaboration. "It's been an incredible journey, with so many talented people joining in, and today, here we are," he said.

The film's storyline takes precedence over everything else, according to Sonu. "A film's story is above everything," Sonu added. "It's a journey shaped by many, and now, it's out for the world to see." Jacqueline Fernandez joins him as an ethical hacker in this action-packed thriller. Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah also contribute significantly to the film's depth.

Fateh is produced by Sonali Sood from Shakti Sagar Productions and Umesh KR Bansal of Zee Studios. Ajay Dhama co-produces this gripping tale of bravery against cybercrime. The film is set for release on 10th January 2025.
