Fateh Box Office Collection Prediction: Sonu Sood’s Film Expected To Surpass Rs 8 Crores Despite Decline
Fateh tells the tale of a former special ops officer, played by Sonu Sood, who grapples with his dark past while taking on a powerful cybercrime syndicate. Jacqueline Fernandez joins him as an ethical hacker, adding depth to the story with both action and romance. This film is a pivotal moment in Sonu Sood's career, as he steps into roles of director, writer, and producer.
After earning Rs 2.25 crores on its first Sunday (day 3), Fateh experienced a significant drop of 62% in earnings. On day 4 (first Monday), the film collected Rs 85 lakhs, bringing its total earnings to Rs 7.60 crores.

Since the release of Fateh's trailer, comparisons have been drawn with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal. Addressing this, Sonu Sood explained to India Today Digital that they faced challenges during filming. "The problem was, we hired around 70-80 fighters for about three major action sequences. In a single shot, we show 70 people getting killed by my character," he said.
Sonu further elaborated on the technical challenges faced during production. "Now, we didn't have enough people for the remaining action sequences. Because we had already shown the faces of the fighters earlier, we decided to cast them again with masks," he added.
The trend suggests that Fateh will see another decline in earnings today (day 5/first Tuesday). The film is expected to earn between Rs 50-80 lakhs and surpass the Rs 8 crores mark at the box office.
The decision to reuse fighters was due to logistical constraints. "We considered the possibility of people thinking this looks like Animal, but it was a technical necessity," Sonu stated. The fighters were sourced from Mexico and South Africa, making immediate replacements impractical.
With its engaging plot and talented cast, Fateh aims to leave a lasting impression on audiences. The movie not only highlights Sonu Sood's versatility but also promises an exciting cinematic experience for viewers.
