Fateh Box Office Collection Day 2: Sonu Sood's Film Shows Strong Performance Against Competition
Fateh, directed by Sonu Sood, had a promising start at the box office on Friday, January 10, 2025. The film draws inspiration from real-life incidents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sonu Sood shared that the story is based on his personal experiences with cyber fraud. He expressed, "I thought this is a story of a common man that has to be conveyed to them, make them aware about what you know, cyber fraudsters actually how they operate. So, this is the reason I started writing the film."
As of Saturday evening, Fateh's earnings reached Rs. 0.9 Crore on its second day. This brings the total collection to Rs. 3.3 Crore by early reports on Saturday. On its opening day, Fateh managed to collect Rs. 2.4 Crore.

The film's occupancy rates are closely watched in comparison to Game Changer (Hindi). On Day 1, Fateh surpassed Game Changer in terms of occupancy. On Day 2, Game Changer recorded a morning occupancy of 6.75% and an afternoon rate of 17.40%. Meanwhile, Fateh had slightly higher morning occupancy at 6.77% but lower in the afternoon at 15.08%. Despite being different genres, Fateh competes strongly with Ram Charan's film in Hindi theaters.
Fateh narrates the tale of a former gangster tasked with safeguarding a woman named Khushi. The movie features Jacqueline Fernandez alongside Sonu Sood, with notable performances by Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Prakash Belawadi.
The storyline and star-studded cast contribute to its appeal among audiences. As it continues its run in cinemas, viewers are eager to see how it performs against other releases.
