Farzi Season 2 Expected To Premiere By End Of 2025, Reveals Raashii Khanna

Following the triumph of their recent web series Gulaab & Guns, directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, widely recognized as Raj & DK, continue to deliver compelling content. Prior to their success with the Netflix series starring Rajkummar Rao, they directed two seasons of The Family Man on Amazon Prime Video, featuring Manoj Bajpayee. Yet, it was the Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi-led Farzi that emerged as their most acclaimed project on OTT platforms to date. Farzi, which debuted on Prime Video in February last year, narrates the story of two childhood friends, Sunny and Firoz, portrayed by Shahid Kapoor and Bhuvan Arora, who embark on a quest to amass wealth through the creation of counterfeit currency.

The series also features Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, and Amol Palekar in significant roles and has been celebrated as the most-watched OTT show in India. A year after its premiere, anticipation for Farzi Season 2 is mounting. Raashii Khanna, known for her role as Megha Vyas, a Reserve Bank of India employee turned CCFART officer in Farzi, recently provided an eagerly awaited update regarding the second season.

Raashii Khanna disclosed during a social media interaction that Farzi Season 2's production is expected to commence at the beginning of next year with a potential release by the end of 2025. This information was confirmed in a report by GQ where she mentioned having discussed the timeline with Raj Nidimoru, one of the directors. "I had a word with Raj sir, who is our director. He told me that the shooting for Farzi 2 will begin by the start of next year. So probably, Farzi 2 might arrive by the end of 2025," Khanna stated.

As fans eagerly await more updates on Farzi Season 2, this announcement has certainly heightened the anticipation for what promises to be another captivating installment in the series.
