Faisal Malik Steals The Show In Panchayat 3: Jitendra Kumar's much-anticipated Panchayat 3 is finally out, and fans are thrilled. The comedy-drama also features Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik, and Sunita Rajwar in lead roles. Following the success of Panchayat seasons 1 and 2, the third season has opened to rave reviews.

For those unfamiliar, Panchayat 3 sees Jitendra reprising his role as Abhishek Tripathi while Neena Gupta returns as Manju Dev with Raghubir Yadav playing her husband. The plot centres on Abhishek navigating the complexities of village politics as Phulera prepares for elections for a new pradhan (village head). While the show has received positive feedback from audiences, it is Faisal Malik who has emerged as a standout performer.

Meanwhile, Jitendra recently discussed his character and revealed how he drew inspiration from Shah Rukh Khan's Swades. Speaking to Pinkvilla, he said, "When we were initially writing and listening to the story, we doubted that there were some similarities between the two characters. He also reluctantly comes to his village just to live for a couple of days. So, we thought that people might highlight this. But we used it as an inspiration in the show. In the first season, the friend also refers to this, but we added those elements. But it never appeared as an obstacle. We used it well. So, it never crossed our minds that it is similar to Shah Rukh's character. In fact, I love 'Swades', so I was really excited to do something in the same zone".
