It earned Rs. 1 crore on day 6, showing no change from day 5's earnings of Rs. 5 crore. The movie debuted with Rs. 2.5 crore and reached Rs. 14.26 crore by the end of day 7.

By day 6, the film's India nett collection was Rs. 13.40 crore, while the gross collection in India reached Rs. 15.85 crore. Globally, "Emergency" amassed Rs. 17.15 crore, including an overseas collection of Rs. 1.30 crore. On Wednesday, the Hindi occupancy rate was recorded at 7.12%.

The ensemble cast includes Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik alongside Kangana Ranaut as Indira Gandhi. Kangana not only directed but also produced the film through her production company Manikarnika Films in partnership with Zee Studio.
