Emergency Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Kangana Ranaut's Film Set To Surpass INR 5 Crores

The film "Emergency," starring Kangana Ranaut, has been generating buzz since its announcement. This biopic focuses on the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the Indian emergency period. Kangana not only stars as Indira Gandhi but also wrote, directed, and co-produced the movie. This marks her first solo directorial venture after co-directing "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi."

Featuring a notable cast, "Emergency" has piqued audience interest. Anupam Kher portrays Jayaprakash Narayan, Shreyas Talpade plays Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Milind Soman takes on the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film also includes Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, and Satish Kaushik in significant roles. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has called for a ban on the film's release in Punjab due to concerns about potential unrest in the Sikh community. SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami addressed this issue with Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Kangana responded by saying, "This is complete harassment of art and the artist... I have utmost respect for all religions... This is a complete lie and propaganda to tarnish my image and harm my film #Emergency."
