Emergency Box Office Collection Day 13: Kangana Ranaut's Film Sees Notable Growth Compared To Yesterday

The film "Emergency," featuring Kangana Ranaut, has been a significant topic of discussion lately. It delves into India's post-independence Emergency period. This movie has surpassed the earnings of Kangana's past five-year releases. On its 13th day, it maintained a strong box office presence, earning nearly as much as the previous day. The question remains whether it will surpass yesterday's earnings.

By 9 p.m. on its 13th day, "Emergency" had collected Rs. 18 lakhs. The previous day, which was the second Tuesday, saw earnings of Rs. 21 lakhs, marking a 5% increase from the second Monday's Rs. 20 crore collection, despite an earlier -82.61% dip. As of 9 p.m., the total net collection reached Rs. 17.29 crore with Hindi occupancy at 7.84% on Wednesday.

Emergency Box Office Collection Updates for Day 13

By the end of its 12th day, "Emergency" had amassed a net total of Rs. 17.10 crore domestically. The Hindi occupancy rate stood at 7.23% on that day. Worldwide earnings by the end of day 11 were Rs. 21.75 crore, comprising Rs. 20 crore from India and Rs. 1.75 crore from overseas markets.

The film features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik alongside Kangana Ranaut in pivotal roles. Kangana took on dual roles as director and producer for this political drama under Manikarnika Films in collaboration with Zee Studio.

The historical backdrop of "Emergency" is set during a challenging time in India when civil rights were curtailed for 21 months, suspending liberties and elections.
