Emergency Box Office Collection Day 11: Kangana Ranaut's Film Approaches Rs. 17 Cr Mark

Emergency, a film that has sparked significant discussion, was released after facing multiple delays and controversies. The movie explores a challenging period in India's history, focusing on Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's tenure when civil laws and rights were heavily compromised. On its opening day, Emergency set a new record for Kangana Ranaut's films over the past five years by earning Rs. 2.5 crore. It is also outperforming Azaad, the debut film of Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan.

As of 7 PM on day 11, Emergency collected Rs. 14 lakhs, according to early updates from Sacnilk. This marks a noticeable decline from the previous day's earnings of Rs. 1.15 crore. Over the weekend, the film experienced a growth of about 35.29% compared to Saturday's earnings of Rs. 85 lakhs, which itself was a 112.50% increase from earlier figures. By 7 PM on day 11, the domestic box office collection had reached Rs. 16.84 crore nett.

Emergency Box Office Update: Day 11 Earnings

By day 10, Emergency's India nett collection stood at Rs. 16.70 crore, while its gross collection in India was Rs. 19.75 crore. Including overseas earnings of Rs. 1.75 crore, the worldwide total reached Rs. 21.50 crore. On Sunday, the film had a Hindi occupancy rate of 23.08%, reflecting its audience reach.

The film features an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik alongside Kangana Ranaut who not only stars but also directed and produced it under Manikarnika Films in collaboration with Zee Studio.
