Nakul Roshan Sahdev Remembers His Childhood Experiences During Dussehra Celebrations

I always wanted to shoot that arrow-childhood dreams. And I remember buying those small bow and arrow sets at these melas. I miss that now after coming to Mumbai."

Nakul also reflects on family traditions during the festive season. He mentions, "No ritual in particular. But yes, there used to be one family dinner at my Nani's house. And all the cousins would play with those bow and arrow we bought from the Mela." These gatherings hold a special place in his heart.
The significance of Dussehra has deepened for Nakul over time. He explains how the festival now prompts him to introspect and seek personal growth. "Now that I have a slightly better understanding of the whole philosophy behind Dussehra, I have started looking more inward," he says.
Nakul believes Dussehra is an opportunity for self-reflection and battling inner demons. He states, "I feel it's that day of the year when I introspect and see what's something within me that needs to change." This process helps him distinguish between ego and self-respect.
