Dune: Prophecy OTT Release Date And Streaming Details For Tabu's Series In India

The much-awaited prequel to the popular film 'Dune', titled 'Dune: Prophecy', is nearing its release. This HBO Original Series, based on Frank Herbert's novel, marks Bollywood actress Tabu's debut in Hollywood. Fans in India can soon stream the episodes online as the premiere date approaches.

Developed by Diane Ademu-John and Alison Schapker, 'Dune: Prophecy' is an American science-fiction TV series serving as a prequel to the 2021 film 'Dune'. The six-episode series delves into events occurring 10,000 years before the movie, focusing on the origins of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood.

The series stars Emily Watson as Valya Harkonnen and Olivia Williams as Tula Harkonnen. Joining them is Indian actress Tabu, playing Sister Francesca. Her character's first look was revealed in August, generating excitement among fans.

'Dune: Prophecy' will premiere on HBO and Mx on 17th November 2024. In India, viewers can watch it on JioCinema Premium starting November 18 at 6:30 am IST. The show consists of six episodes available weekly in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, and Marathi.
