Disha Patani's Father Jagadish Singh Patani Defrauded Of Rs 25 Lakhs By Job Scam In UP

Jagadish Singh Patani, father of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, has recently been in the spotlight due to an unfortunate incident. A former police officer residing in Bareilly, he was deceived by a fraudster who promised him a government job in Uttar Pradesh. Jagadish Patani ended up losing Rs. 25 lakhs before realising he had been scammed. A case has already been filed regarding this matter.

Disha Patani's father transferred Rs. 20 lakh to a fraudulent bank account after receiving a call from someone claiming to have influential contacts within the UP government. Additionally, he handed over Rs. 5 lakhs in cash, believing he would be appointed as the chairman of a corporation body within the state's government. It was only after these promises went unfulfilled that he realised the deception and reported it to the Bareilly police, who have commenced an investigation.

Currently, Disha Patani is featured in "Kanguva," sharing the screen with Tamil superstar Suriya. Released on November 15, the film received mixed reviews from audiences. This period drama also includes Bobby Deol among its cast members. Previously, she appeared in "Kalki 2898 AD" alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, where she portrayed Prabhas's love interest.

Looking ahead, Disha Patani is set to star in "Welcome to The Jungle." This project boasts an ensemble cast including Shreyas Talpade, Riteish Deshmukh, Raveena Tandon, and Akshay Kumar among others.
