Diljit Dosanjh Faces Legal Notice Ahead Of Upcoming Hyderabad Concert On November 15, 2024
Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming concert in Hyderabad, part of his Dil-Luminati tour, is scheduled for November 15, 2024. However, the Telangana government has issued a notice to the Punjabi singer. The notice includes warnings and disclaimers related to his performance. Let's delve into the specifics of these directives.
The Telangana government has advised Diljit Dosanjh to refrain from performing songs that glorify alcohol, drugs, or violence during his Hyderabad show. This directive follows evidence presented by Panditrao Dharenavar from Chandigarh about explicit content in a previous performance. Additionally, the notice cautions against involving children on stage due to high sound levels. According to WHO guidelines, children under 13 should not be exposed to sound levels exceeding 130 dB, which are common at music events. The notice specifies that "children should not be used on stage during your live show where peak sound pressure level is above 120 dB," as reported by India Today.

It's important to note that Diljit's Hyderabad concert marks the third event in his tour lineup. Other cities hosting his concerts include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Pune, and Guwahati. During a previous concert, Diljit addressed issues with fake tickets and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to fans. He stated, "If anyone has fallen victim to a ticketing scam, I apologize to that person. We have not done this. Authorities are currently investigating the matter. Stay away from those involved in the scam. Our tickets sold out so fast, even though we did not get to know."
