Dhvani Bhanushali Explores Challenges Of Acting In Film Compared To Music Videos
Dhvani Bhanushali, known for her popular music videos and hit songs, is stepping into the world of acting with her upcoming film, 'Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam'. This new venture is a major step in her career as she gears up to display her acting abilities on the big screen. Dhvani shared her thoughts on the differences and challenges she encountered while transitioning from music video performances to acting in a film.
In discussing her shift to acting, Dhvani pointed out the distinct differences between performing in music videos and films. "There's a significant difference between acting in music videos and acting in films. In music videos, I'm usually portraying a version of myself, But in a movie, it's a whole new ballgame, as you're stepping into someone else's shoes, portraying a different person altogether. To truly become the character I had to really dive deep into understanding this new process, which also involved a lot of unlearning to approach it with fresh eyes," she explained. This transition required her to adopt a new mindset and approach.

Dhvani's commitment to her first role involved working closely with the film's creative team. She mentioned, "We put immense effort into shaping the character of Meera with my director Saurabh Dasgupta, and just two days before filming began, I was working closely with Laxman sir, refining every scene to make sure I did justice to the vision that Saurabh and the writers had crafted. It was important for me to embody the character fully and give it my all so that what we envisioned could come alive on screen." Her dedication highlights her passion for delivering an authentic performance.
'Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam' features an impressive cast including Supriya Pilgaonkar and Rakesh Bedi. Directed by Saurabh Dasgupta and starring Dhvani alongside Aashim Gulati, this film is produced by Bhanushali Studios Limited & Kathputli Creations. With producers Vinod Bhanushali, Laxman Utekar, Karishma Sharma, and Kamlesh Bhanushali leading the project, it promises an engaging cinematic experience when it releases on 20th September 2024.
Reflecting on her journey from music to movies, Dhvani stated, "Both music videos and films require different approaches to acting, and both come with their own set of challenges. As an artist, I hope to do justice in both these spaces and deliver performances that resonate with audiences." Her transition showcases her versatility as she seeks new ways to connect with viewers.
Dhvani Bhanushali's entry into acting with 'Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam' signifies an important phase in her artistic journey.
